From what I’ve seen on social media, it appears that quite a few fans are skipping today’s OU/Louisiana game and are instead watching Joe Burrow and LSU play Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Thoughts?

Since the game is in Nashville it is probably the closest that LSU plays to Athens this season.
It is a tribute to the community and to the Burrow family to have this kind of loyalty and special relationship.
My thought is that its awesome and I hope it is s great game.
Possibly a homecoming too for those who maintain ties with the Vanderbilt staff who were formerly at Ohio.

Wiami up on your Bucks 2-0... Seems like you’ve got a lot to worry about today

I've seen crazier things happen.

I haven't seen any of that on my social media (in other words, I reject your MEANINGLESS completely anecdotal evidence with my own EQUALLY MEANINGLESS anecdotal evidence)

Over 300 attended from Athens. Including many OHIO Alums, football alums, and bobcat fans.

Time for Frank to follow Jimmy’s lead. He would’ve loved Nashville in September. Except for last September. That didn’t work out either.

Sad day when more time is spent discussing a kid from Athens playing for another team, then there is discussion about Ohio Football on an Ohio Football Fan Forum. Pathetic how far Ohio Football has fallen. And yes, the entire staff needs to move on.

Sad day when grumpy old people come on and complain about people who are proud and happy for a hometown kid they have watched grow up.

No problem BTC, but where did I say anything bad about your "local boy"? BTW, you do a great job of running people off the Board.

LOL, posting about an Athens kid as an of-topic, a kid who’s father was a well respected member of OHIO University and chooses to still make his home in Athens is such a bad thing. 😂😂😂
