Two from the list are on our schedule this season: UMass's Andrew Ford (#5) and Fiami's Ragland (#10). https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2018/03/20/10... /

A bit surprised that Rourke isn't on the list. He has some improving to do but he put up really good numbers last year.

Bit of a shame that Ragland even made this list ESPECIALLY over Rourke.

I believe the reason he isn't included is that he is an atypical, run first QB in the modern, pass first game. Passing is the one component of his game I hope he can focus on and improve significantly in 2018, and hopefully his rehab isn't putting a crimp in that. He can clearly run the RPO game, and create significant problems for opposing D's that are strong against a pass first offense. But until Ground Canada can become Ground and Air Canada in equal measures, the pundits will likely view him as a one trick pony.

The Few, The Proud, The Bobcats!

And for the record, I hate tOSU, and Ricordati and Torgerson are DB's.

"This isn't just another walkover from the MAC." Kirk Herbstreit, another DB, on College Football Gameday

That was my first thought, but the list include's Navy's Malcolm Perry. He threw 2 passes last year and one was intercepted.

Don't pay attention to these rankings. The Bobcats have one of the best QB's in the MAC and have a great returning OL.

Important to note that 2017 was the best rushing season in the Solich tenure (244 ypg vs. 161 ypg avg in Solich's previous years).

The running game really helps the passing game and vice versa.
