Can someone who follows the NFL tell me what's happened to Basham. He seems to have dropped offf the radar.

He has not found his stride. http://fox59.com/2017/10/14/while-colts-wait-on-tarell-ba... /

Ouch. Thanks for the update. Hope he comes around soon, but it sounds he has a lot of improvement to make.

I suspected he might struggle when I heard what his bench reps were. Shocking that a senior DE only put up 15 reps.

I suspected he would struggle when he got drafted by a 3-4 team. The bench reps I get but the guy isn't a linebacker. Needs to have his hand in the dirt.

It speaks to me of his work ethic and level of commitment is all I'm saying. I think he would struggle just as much trying to defend the run on the end of a 4-3 with his strength. He can't handle the strength of NFL tight ends, let alone offensive tackles. I think whether or not he makes it will be determined by how long it takes him to be developed, which will be determined by his desire and work ethic. He has some catching up to do. And I hope he succeeds.

I hope so as well, he has speed and heart.

Don't say those words, Allen will go batshit crazy on you giving you his combine numbers and the scout reports on physical abilities.

His speed and lack of strength means that he is better suited for the 3-4 backer position, he needs to learn how to read and react on his feet. I think he will be fine. MOST scouts saw him as a 3-4 Backer. The one thing that hinders him right now is his lack of strength. Billy the Cat, he is a little tight, so I can see your 4-3 argument as well, but he would get mauled by NFL tackles and guards.
