I ordered our tickets through the KU ticket office and we are to pick them up at will call, so don't have the actual tickets in had. I'm curious as to what section the visitors sit in.

Be sure to get to will call early. In the past the lines have been long and it can take a while to get your tickets.

Enjoy.

I second that. I'd suggest going to will call at the time they open, then go find that sandwich and adult soda.

Which is 90 minutes before kickoff.

If you're in town Friday, pick them up then.

If you are into craft beer Athens is home to three of the finest Craft Breweries. Little Fish Brewery, Devils Kettle Brewery, and the oldest Jackie O's. They have their own unique atmospheres but most importantly they all have wonderful brews.

Since when have Little Fish and Devil's Kettle been there?

Been too long since I've been to Athens I guess.

Jayhawk fan - if you want the best view of Athens, hike up to Bong Hill.

Both Breweries are recent additions to the area. I'd say last 1 1/2 yrs at most. Neither are in the town proper area. DK is on Columbus Rd not far from the car dealerships and LF is on Rt.682 just across the Hocking on Armitage Rd.

Both opened in 2015 and are in the city limits just not uptown. Athens is a very small and compact town.

Maaaaaaaaaan, I still don't know how I feel about this game.

I'll be in Athens, for sure. I look forward to seeing all y'all. Not sure on what the gameday attire will be. ;)

Those of you who saw me at the game in LFK last year probably have a good idea of what it'll be.

Went a little too far west, let's go SJ Earthquakes!

Hey, you gotta wear the colors of how you get paid. I would anyway, although I might have green & white underneath that blue. ;-)

Think of it as just going "throw back." Blue and white were OHIO's original colors, before we started football and couldn't find blue and white uniforms. So the first coach, a GA, ordered Dartmouth green uniforms from the supplier they ordered from when he was an undergraduate student at Dartmouth.

I love it when you, and others, provide this kind of history.

Assuming Central Michigan U wasn't expected to be the world beaters they looked like last Saturday. I will say their QB impressed. Take it easy on us this week... it's televised.

moccasin, Get to the Tailgate park just past the Convo early and wander along the river and meet some Bobcat tailgaters after your tour of campus. Bobcats pride themselves on their hospitality and there is always lots of good eats and drinks to be shared with our guests! Wear your KU colors proudly and we will have a cold one ready!

Both are good. Devils Kettle takes a little more traditional approach with their beers. Little Fish is very innovative with their Saisons and Sours (but also brew more traditional styles). It's going to be nice Saturday, so if you have to pick one of the two, I'd go with Little Fish. The brewery opens up nicely to the outside.

But we'll make you drink it out of a green cup... :-)
