Just don't understand why after 9,000 posts you don't reach out to the one person who apparently is 1) for Solich 2) not for MACC, and 3) controls the situation. Give him a call. That is free. Or you can send a letter. That will have a charge. Otherwise you are simply the Yelp customer that posts 9000 complaints about a restaurant but never reaches out to the owner/manager.

Many people who post continuously, often with the same complaints/gripes/whining may be doing it to draw attention to themselves as there often is a need to be the center of attention. Anymore I just chuckle at some of the posts since it's very obvious that those who matter in athletics and administration don't share the sentiment of said poster.

+1

You hit the nail on the head. The dude is only interested in drawing attention to himself. I'm quite certain he secretly cringes at the idea of us actually winning the MACC because he and his argument (one and the same) become irrelevant. I mean, do you really think he was rooting for OHIO on that final drive for the MACC??! Highly doubt his ego would let him. The bottom line is, he doesn't attend any OHIO athletic events and his financial contributions are lame enough where his opinion of Solich doesn't matter to anyone on campus. I could be wrong, maybe he's changed since I started ignoring his posts several months ago when I saw that he began replying to his own posts when no one else would. So pathetic...makes me want to bankroll a new board because he's ruining this one (again, something he's proud of).

I would contribute to a Go Fund Me to raise $$$ for Ted to purchase an "Ignore" feature.

Ryan hasn't even had time to make an update to release a version where we can once again post pictures, emoticons, gifts, different fonts, etc.

Thank you to the sheep, SFB crowd for that no-opinion-except-that-which-sure-to-keep-us-losing-orthodoxy-allowed drivel.

Th thought that I post to hear myself think instead of out of love for The Ohio University and OHIO BOBCAT FOOTBALL is particularly weird.

But, hey, go on...keep on enabling the eternal lack of MACC and bad football.

That I'm correct, that the current staff is rigid and can't bring down a MAC title..mediocre, not able to bring down one in 12 years in a 12 team league--don't let that bother you. Don't let the facts get in the way of an opinion you'll hold to no matter what.

CABobcat, thanks so much for your social commentary and all-knowingness. Hey, I forgot my password for this site. Could you, please, email it to me.

Gotta love a bunch of SFB who need an 'ignore' feature..apparently, loving my stuff (uh, can't figure out to just ignore it without such a feature).

Profess to complain all you want but you know you need the truth which I provide.

To Schaus. Thanks for today's Ohio Football led by Coach Solich. 13 years prior to Coach Solich 49-96, avg 3.7 wins, , avg 7.3 losses, 2 winning seasons, no bowls, no Div titles, no MAC titles. Twelve seasons under Coach Solich 88-67, avg 7.3 wins, 8 winning seasons, 4 Div titles, 8 bowls. From worst in the MAC to a relevant, respected, winning, bowling, proud to be a Bobcat program. Should be interesting to see what the Solich's 13th season does to build on what is Ohio Football.

I admit that if your standard is doing better than an average of 3.7 wins over 13 years, then Solich is your man.

Great point by bcat2.

CABobcat, I feel sorry for everyone who knows you.

Trust me, I already explained why that isn't needed.

Implicit in your thought is that Schaus is responsive and aware. Which is a significant part of my point.

As mid-April turns to late April, still no word from Malik. Wondering if he'll make an announcement before teams begin 2017 fall workouts.

He needs to be here in the summer. He needs to bond with the team and do 7 on 7's.

The rumor going around is that Zaire is waiting to see if the SEC will change a rule that is preventing Florida from accepting grad transfers. Florida looks like a great opportunity for Zaire. It also makes sense why he is holding out so long. Do you believe that the Bobcats are Plan B for him?

Since Schaus has not made a change it appears he does not agree with you and is the "Chief" SFB. Reach out and make him aware of your displeasure - sounds like it is needed as he does not appear to be aware that Frank can not get us to the mountain top.

You're getting repetitive and boring.

How many times do I have to explain to you that my choice is to convince others here in order to gain a groundswell consensus...which is growing and likely to be pretty large if not even a MAC East title this year, I suspect?

You don't agree? Fine. Then you write to Schaus.

It's not what I'm going to do.

I prefer something of a dialogue among here at the single most populated grouping of dedicated OHIO fans.

I implore you not to continue supporting the non-MACC mediocrity which OHIO FOOTBALL has fallen to under the current staff for so long.

You agree with me, by the way.

No need for you to respond as I can do that for you: Write to Schaus.

Interestingly enough, last year's SEC Spring Meetings weren't held until the last week in May. I'd assume this year's SEC Spring Meetings will be around the same time.

In addition to the sketchy timeline for the SEC Spring Meeting, I'm curious how their conference rule changes work...
Does each school get a "vote" or is it decided solely by the commissioner?

I remember talking to a Tennessee fan at a tailgate down there when we played them. "Every time we have a SEC road game, I have my two german sheperds take a sh!t on their campus." While I'm sure SEC administrators wouldn't quite use that language, I have no doubt that if this vote comes down to Bama, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and company allowing a rules change so Malik Zaire can join the Gators, they don't allow it.

I've seen crazier things happen.
