Agree on this. There should be a possibility for more than 4/5 options.

Now here's a novel idea. Why not utilize the expertise of this department and 1) create contemporary stylish fan wear and 2) give students practical experience designing and marketing a product that has meaning to them.

Any updates on when we see the new Adidas units? Any special event planned?

If you have a twitter, I recommend following the Equipment staff at @OHIOBobcatsFBEQ. Provides some great behind the scenes looks during gameweek, and he's posted some pictures of Adidas Gear as he's getting ready for camp. I'm sure we're not too far away from seeing the new jerseys.

Good call out. I think the hoodie could be hinting at the jersey design. Guess we'll see.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere:

There is now a very nice "display" of Ohio Bobcats shirts at John Glenn Airport. I have never seen this large of an "Ohio" featured display at the airport. There were only two schools represented. obviously its all about OSU there but I did not see any UC, Miami or Dayton gear. Only OSU and Ohio. The Bobcat display was rather noticeable among all the scarlet and gray. I am not sure how long this will be tolerated before someone takes it down. Perhaps this is a result of all the campus expansion in Dublin and Pickerington.

Where in the airport was this? In one of the stores, or a general display of some sort? Did you take photos? Send them to Ryan and ask him to post them. Inquiring minds want to know.

Wow. So these are bonafide legit Ohio University shirts, not just a generic shirt that says "Ohio" like you see at Walgreens etc.?

While I prefer to do all of my Ohio shopping at College Bookstore when possible, Follett's does have some new adidas items:

Rutgers new uni reveal made the news out here.

Pretty much the same look as last year's Nike.

Follett's has posted the new sideline polos, see the link above. Adidas definitely went pretty traditional this year. Hoping the jerseys will stick with the traditional theme too.

Edit: link didn't work try this one.

New jersey can be seen in newest verbal commit's tweet. Looks the same as before... if not worse due to smaller shoulder stripes. Numbers very thin/tall.

If you hurry to the CBS, they might still have some of the Adidas hoodies for $75.

If we're going with #ThreeStripeLife for marketing purposes, shouldn't the shoulders actually have three stripes?

2 on the shoulder.
One on the sleeve.
(The arm band wouldn't count)

I'm calling that a cuff, not a stripe.

I'm sure some will like these, but I much prefer the Russell look.

Other than the Adidas logo, it doesn't seem like there's much of a difference, and I'm OK with that. Love the green and white combos.

The matted black look can go IMHO; the uniqueness of that look is long gone.

When I first saw the uniform, the shoulder stripes reminded me of Captain's (Lieutenant in the Navy) bars.

I believe the "three stripe life" is a marketing phrase used by adidas. Google "three strip life" and you'll turn up Adidas stuff. The three stripes really apply to the shoes as adidas footwear has always had three stripes.
