CB Fox or Christian

Looks good.

The following true freshman could work their way in....one way or another :

OL-Kiitrell and Tusha

DL-Ogun-Semore and Coleman.

WR-Harris and Cox

DB-Mitchell and Floyd

LB-Robinson

Any true freshman who can make the two deep over those listed would be a quality addition. Opportunity at LB, DB, DE, RB & WR always exists when the new blood can improve team speed and athleticism.

I believe Tusha, Michell, Floyd and Kittrell will break into the lineup. I believe Mitchell may start. I don't see Fox starting at corner.

I would think that our Michigan transfer will be on the two deep at LB. Oulette waaaay over Brown. Rourke at QB. I am going to miss Belack as a WR and as a gunner on special teams. Kid was something special. Too bad he ruined his career at OU with a dumb mistake.

Brown is a 4.4 guy, with blocking he is much more explosive than AJ. He is much better when he gets to the second level. AJ makes the first guy miss and gets to the second level more. Waaaayyyy over is definitely and emotional stretch.

Leading Rushers 2014-2016
2014 Ouellette 150+ rushes, 4.5 avg
2015 Ouellette 150+ rushes, 4.9 avg
2016 Brown 150+ rushes, 5.2 avg

Brown & Ouellette, about the same in my eyes. Who knows, some fumbles and the kid from Kansas City might take the job and never give it up. Not sure who will be taking reps at RB during spring ball. Would be great if Brown/Ouellette could have light loads this spring.

Good point - when is that typically released? It's never too early to make tailgating plans!

Speaking of Oulette my son and I ran into him on Saturday at Peden. He was running routes with some buddies throwing to him. He was planting and cutting. Said he feels great and the foot is good to go.

I look for Marcus Brunson to make some noise at the ILB position this year. Was an absolute beast at Mainland (Daytona Beach) which like Trinity (Jacksonville) is a top program in FL. Had an offer from Wisconsin which knows how to recruit run stoppers and was the best run defense in the BIG last year. Was surprised he didn't see the field last year, but was a DE in H.S. making a switch to LB at OHIO. Has the same build and tenacity as Blair Brown.

A QB who could be the MAC player of the year, a very talented guy that we will be blessed to have.

Sounds exactly like what people thought Toledo had with **** star Alabama transfer Phillip Ely. Ely gave them a nice 2015 10-2 season, losing to NIU & Western and not making 1st, 2nd or 3rd tm all-MAC.

Ely had accuracy problems at Alabama, this guy didn't plus he can run. I got this from a reliable source. This guy may be coming our way.
