A lot of water has flowed down the Hocking since those tweets. I don't think anyone but Zaire knows what he plans to do, and maybe even he doesn't know.

Allen, then here's a simple question for you. Why would such an educated person like yourself from a great institution jump on this board and purposely lie, fabricate stories and then post them on a message board when they never happened. I never sent you any of those messages saying any of those things to you - and we both know it. So why??? It's a simple question allen.

I would have guessed that you have a doctorate in grammar/spelling.

* "Why are you HEAR. . .?"

* "he would have WENT to the . . ."

* The comma in your first sentence is not necessary.

So, who is cheapening this board, not to mention a degree from Ohio University?

I don't come to check grammar or have my grammar checked. Newt Gingrich spoke at my graduation. I don't know why you jumped in. How many medi's are there. So as a man thinketh so is he. Don't have a defeated mind state. God bless the mediocre.

Have you EVER not taken a thread off topic?

Do you feel the need to display your hatred for one political party and inject it into EVERY single thread here?

And as far as being a thorn .... you win this 'title' hands down.

And regarding 'value'? Have you EVER added value there? Doubtful ...

Never takes you long to separate facts from reality. There is way more to how Los made it all the way out to OHIO, and it was not because he turned USC down. He was a rare talent, probably the most talented and athletic running back I've ever seen here. He's also back home in Southern Cali doing real well for himself and his family.

I know Los personally, he stayed in Carriage Hill for two years. The fact is that he came here when he could have went to USC. We took prop 48's back then, but he qualified. I am glad that he is doing well in southern Cali.

It just goes to show, "How can you tell a politician is lying?" Answer: His/her lips are moving.

In less than three months, our new president tried to release sanctions against a country that is paying Taliban fighters to fight in Afghanistan. he has made an enemy out of the media and called them fake news because they reported tru leaks. He fired his chief of staff for lying. He signed on with a health insurance bill that will increase premiums drastically for seniors and gives the rich (which none of you are) a tax break. He settled with the attorney general over a FAKE university, we may tell fake car wash stories and fake hero stories about our coaches, but I reckon good feller, we have never stolen. He released a racist travel ban probably written by Steve Bannon, who digs up his butt and smells his fingers. And who knew that bowling Green was named after the Bowling Green massacre. Ladies and gentlemen 117 lies in 50 days. https://www.thestar.com/news/world/2017/02/24/daniel-dale...

I have a Masters of Science in Management. When you study leadership, you understand that mediocrity is your number one enemy. I want the Cats and fans to believe that we can win. This may piss some of you off and make you want to cry. Winning starts in the mind. It is so easy to be marginal and it so hard to be great. We as fans have inundated with mediocrity, we have been conditioned to continually look back on our previous failures versus moving forward and believing and being relentless. We make up excuses and ostracize believers.

There's a lot of mediocrity being celebrated, and a lot of wonderful stuff being ignored or discouraged. Sean Penn

I'm not angry at all. Just the opposite in fact. I've gotten to the point where I'm just waiting for the next response to laugh at.

If you're truly tying to motivate people here to embrace your ideas, you might next consider some courses on PR, Sales, or Public Speaking. Because recently, regardless of the degree you hold, most of us aren't buying what you're selling.

At the end of the day, I don't need to get you to believe. My goal is to make you challenge the way that you think. You are a grown man or woman. There is a scripture that says, does a leopard change his spots? You are who you are, if I hired you then I would probably feel sick because I would be responsible for you. I love Ohio and I want to see our university succeed, so I will oppose the mediocre thoughts. I believe FS can get a great QB to come and play for Ohio. I believe we can win the MAC and go to a college football playoff game.
I met great people at Ohio, I already know that Ohio is a great school and a great experience. I transferred to Ohio from Wright State, I was an OSU fan, but I fell in love with Ohio. I don't do this to sell Ohio to you, I do it for the recruits and the players. I want them to know that they can be great. When Alvin Floyd committed, he talked about becoming a member of the no fly zone. I want people like him to believe that they can have a no fly zone in Athens and do great things, it doesn't have to happen tomorrow, it can happen today. The players want to be great and they can't afford to think that their fans don't believe that they can win. I am not against you or anybody else, I am against people having a defeated mind state that rubs off on the players.

You're not against me, yet you say "if I hired you then I would probably feel sick because I would be responsible for you." That's interesting.

I think you are missing the point, which is: your delivery, and inconsistency of message, along with these little slights make it so that some on here don't even want to read a thing you type.

If you think we all have this "defeated state of mind", you're mistaken. Coming here, talking and rooting on the Bobcats is for most of us, our entertainment, our fun throughout much of the year. My "state of mind" on game day is to have as much fun as possible with friends, and cheer on the team as much as I can.

And, if you think for a second that any player or recruit cares about this idea of our fan's being in a "defeated state of mind," you're fooling yourself. They don't have time for that nonsense. In fact, if the basketball team read your rants against Saul this week, they'd likely be at his defense immediately. If you think that the majority of members on here read your rambles, and think, "Gee, I'll start looking at things from allen's point of view", again, you're fooling yourself. Instead, they're hoping your phone quits working to get a reprieve.

The point of coming and commenting on this board, at least for myself and the majority of members I enjoy interacting with here, is to share ideas, Bobcat news, etc. I haven't once posted to try to "challenge the way others think", or change their point of view. That's not what this space is for.

But post away - tell us all we're "defeated", or thinking small, or that we don't care, or whatever other nonsense you're saying about everyone. Just know that the way you deliver it, the attitude that comes across, makes people not want to read or hear what you have to say.

I have a master's degree and am currently, working on a second master's degree. Don't try to bring us down to your mediocre state. Go post on OSU's site. Why are you hear if you are not an Ohio fan? Why do you have the name OhioBobcat? You have been cheapening us as fans and I am calling it out. NOBODY is too good for Ohio, we don't play games to hang, we play to win. We recruit to win.

I wish I could introduce you to Lakarlos Townsend who turned down USC to come here. If Lakarlos had not been injured he would have went to the NFL. There is a poster/former player that turned down Louisville and Nebraska.

I would have guessed that you have a doctorate in grammar/spelling.

* "Why are you HEAR. . .?"

* "he would have WENT to the . . ."

* The comma in your first sentence is not necessary.

So, who is cheapening this board, not to mention a degree from Ohio University?

Hahhaaaa!

I wish that I could get along with everybody. We are all Bobcat fans, I speak my mind, we are all allowed to have our own opinions. If you approach me from a mediocre point of view, I will try to challenge the way that you think. This is out of love because we are all great at something and have something to offer this world. The athletes that come to Ohio want to win and I will always support them. Last year, I was on a flight and I sat next to an Ohio volleyball player, she was decked out in her Ohio gear. We happened to sit next to each other and she told me how great her coaches are, she was from Canada and had big-time offers out of high school. She came to Ohio because believed in her coaches. I asked what would she like the most, she said that she wanted to win a championship. I told her that I believe that they will win a championship. The young lady was very tall, she had a lot of charisma and she was proud of her university. Just think about how she will feel when she puts on her Ohio championship apparel. There is a scripture says bad company corrupts good character. I choose to confront small-minded thoughts to prevent them from penetrating the hearts of others. I am not talking about your thought personally and I don't know you as a person so please don't take offense to what I say. I want to best for Ohio and that is it.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes
