The real issue is he is just the kind of recruit FS loves to have...NR/2-star type who works really hard and gets the most out of his ability and skills. Problem in he is (literally) in way over his head. One of the things I see in our recruiting is we don't really use many measurables. We often have guys who are shorter, or lighter or slower than opponents. But, we coach em up and they develop...just not quite enuff to win a MACC! Back to Top L.C. Ellis played well, but as said above, he was a backup. If he can be in the top 2 strings next year, he might get a scholarship.
