NIU trails FCS Western Illinois by 11 in the 4th quarter. If the Huskies can't come from behind, they'll start the season 0-4.

NIU won the 4th quarter 16-0, but couldn't come back from the 28-7 lead they spotted WIU in the first 3 quarters. Nevertheless, Wes and Monroe have assured us that, having won the MACC, Carey is completely safe.

At this point, NIU looks like they may lose a few more before the year is out. They could also turn things around. Here's another question. As a purely hypothetical question, suppose he goes 0-12 this year, and gets fired. Suppose also that Solich retires. Should Ohio consider hiring him? He did go to the MACC three times, and win once.
