Officially begins now. I called it early in the season when for some reason it seemed as if Ohio could not get the young man even 7-8 carries a game. Even as I watched many college football teams including teams Ohio faced use multiple RBs no sign of Mr Irons other than looking Big and Strong on the sideline. The few carries we saw well he looked big strong and fast usually scoring a Touchdown in the process. Well here is what he just Tweeted. Let the speculation begin but I personally think its a HUGE loss if we lose this kid.

He was what Ohio needed in the fourth instead of JD throwing OTM while protecting the lead. 1 run of 20 yards and the game is salted away.

I'm just amazed at the amount of 1st down middle runs we continue to gain nothing to one yard on using AJ and Daz..I think Papi even had a few. Just silly but Im no coach.

I hope he stays, I really do. Ohio is the best place for him. The coaches need to get some courage and play the best players.

They play the best players and the ones who do what is asked both on and off the field.

Hope he doesn't transfer. Although, tweets right after a hard breaking loss are sometimes just knee jerk reactions. Thank God I don't tweet, because if I did, I what I would've tweeted an hour and a half ago wouldn't have been pretty.

One gets the sense that this kid has an attitude problem. Yes, he's very talented, but why do you think Papi White, also a RS freshman, played so much more when he was healthy? Perhaps, Papi takes to coaching a little better and is less of head case. Irons, I'm guessing, has some maturing to do. If he stays at OHIO, he'll be a featured back in the next year or two. I suspect the coaching staff will explain to him what his future at OHIO could be like and what will be expected of him in terms of attitude and the work he is expected to put in to improve. Then the choice will be his. I don't think anyone, including Frank, will bend to his immature rants or desires. It'll be man up time for him. We'll see if he's up to it, or not.

JD has nothing to offer this team besides a practice squad body.

Is he a headcase for saying he is not a 4th string running back or is it his appearance? Is it because you are a groupie? If the players and coaches have not said he is a headcase, how can we? Poling has been suspended twice. Is he a headcase? No, these are young men and Irons has a darn good case.

I'd just like to point out that you didn't see Ouellette complaining on Twitter when he didn't get carries for several games in a row.

I didn't want to post what you did. Funny that many here seem to question Daz getting so much time on the field and Irons so little. Character plays a role in the overall maturity of a RB and as I privately pointed out to "Coach" Monroe quite a while ago that Irons had some growing up to do. Irons at times may be his own worst enemy. Hope he finds it within himself to mature as a person and player.

If we asked that of you you'd never be able to support your statements. You claim Windham is a 46% passer ... sorry, but stats don't lie. 46% this year and 77% last years for about 55% overall.

You obsession with Irons is somewhat humorous ... there are reasons he doesn't see the field more.

AJ is a heck of a back, he probably knows that Irons is more talented. AJ is a heck of a football player, he could have been Irons. Had Daz and Brown not fumbled a gazillion times last year, Oulette would be buried on the depth chart. He came in last year and filled a need and he is a local walk on so the fans have taken to him and the coaches are giving the fans what they want. Irons looks like he is the most talented runner on the team and he did not play in 6 games.

46% in year four, looking below average in meaningful game action should say something. Hey, you win, Windham is the starter next year and he will be first team all-Mac. Irons running through people and catching passes and being bigger and faster than AJ and patterson does not mean anything, you win.

You may want to EDUCATE yourself MORE about players and their behavior on and off the field. Daz vs. Irons on the field is a no brainer as of this year. Hopefully Irons can make better choices in the future.

What did he do off the field? I searched the police blotter and I found nothing. Amongst the Solich ball handlers, I get something different.

Again, if you had access to the right people you'd probably understand why he didn't see the field more. It's not all about a "police blotter". I truly hope he grows up as he has some solid talent.

Where did anyone say the young man was afoul of the law? You kind of like making stuff up, and writing your own narrative. You should probably apply for the new OC position when Monroe becomes the head coach.

+10. Heck, we'd be 12 - 0 and be ranked #1 by the end of the year with the Monroe/Allen coaching staff!

you can make cheap jokes about me and make me the villain. You are the grown men who lie and have double standards, who dream of losing close games to Big ten opponents, who are cowardly and don't believe we can compete and find every excuse to justify losses. The joke is on you, you just don't know. Poling was suspended twice and nobody has called him ahead case and say he should grow up, including me. I know he is a growing young man with a lot of fire, but you say nasty things about Irons. What is that about? He has not been suspended twice or arrested. I am not the sicko here.

We would be 6-6 and bowl eligible. Can we get that one million dollar extension? Can we get some ball handlers?
