The other player that I seem to recall being reported to be one of the fastest players on the team was Bo Hardy. It probably wouldn't help them much as they probably have a pretty good idea of each player's speed from the film anyway, but I think it's an excuse for not releasing it. It isn't just Ohio; I'm not aware of any school releasing 40 times, though I remember that info being released back in the 60's and 70's. Injury reports fall under HIPA regulations, and limit staffs from commenting on the health of a student athlete unless a student signs a waiver, which rarely happens.
