Though there is no apparent "organized" event like Tailgreat Park, there was some serious tailgating going on in the parking lots. Quite a fun atmosphere, though from my observation a good number of participants never actually intended to go to the game. Yes, the stands were 80% full and stayed that way through nearly the end of the game. And yes, I too was welcomed by several people. Good game-day atmosphere but the railroad tracks and major road that cut through the campus do detract from the overall college campus experience. And since it is in a city, there were a lot more "drive-ins" then usually experienced in Athens.
