CMU's stud RB, Michigan transfer Thomas Rawls, who shredded Purdue in their win, has been suspended indefinitely and looks to likely be gone. Huge blow for CMU. As if that wasn't enough, WR Andrew Flory has been dismissed. WR Titus Davis has also been out with a knee injury suffered in the opener.

A friend of mine who is a big CMU fan says this story might spell the end of Enos' career in Mt. Pleasant. Apparently there has been a warrant out for this kid since April yet Enos claims he had no idea.

As far as I'm concerned, this is excellent news. That game stood out to me on the schedule as a huge danger point. We jump back into the MAC with a long, tough road trip to Mt. Pleasant just before our huge two-game homestand against our chief rivals for the MAC East crown, BG and Akron.

If we can get that win up north and be 2-0 in the league entering the BG-Akron swing, that'll be huge. But a loss there could really be yucky and throw us into must-win mode for the rest of the season.

The backup torched us in Peden last year. Don't feel great about this game, but that may change if we can right the ship over the next two weeks.

I saw that too. Not sure if he'll play this week but we'll see. Also, WR Titus Davis (arguably the best WR in the MAC) has been out since week one with a knee injury.

Rawls was in for the Toledo game -- 65 yds and two TDs on 17 carries;one catch for four yds. Davis was also back -- 6 catches for 128 yds. Looks like they're at about full strength for next week.
