Kentucky told our AD to quit calling them. They won't play us under any circumstances. I think Kentucky is very good and with the possible exception of Northern Illinois would pretty much thrash any team in the MAC. That was not your mother's Kentucky Ohio faced last week. They've now had 2 recruiting classes rank in the top 25-30 and they have a very good coaching staff. With that, being in the SEC (and I would hope that even the most diehard Marshall fan would concede that the SEC is slightly better than CUSA) Kentucky will be lucky to be bowl eligible this year. But yeah, Kentucky beats Marshall if they played at Kentucky. No doubt about that. But I think this year is much different. Do not quit or panic. stupd cow is actually a decent team. And they were geeked up to get this one, to revenge the last 3 years. We're 1-2, about where most, rightfully, expected us to be at this point. We've taken 3 of 4 from stupd cow--and wasn't one of those 44-7, a lot worse than today. This team has talent. The year will get a lot better as we get experience. The 'X' factor to me is that our offense has to play the right RB's and SHOW SOME FREAKING CREATIVITY/THINKING. That last one is huge. And we let off the gas in the 3rd quarter. 7 of your points were against a half subbed defense and the other 7 against the full 2nd string.
