I've been to the last five football games against Marshall. Aside from Whistle-Gate, my experience with Marshall fans has been overwhelmingly positive. Last year I had a great time with the Marshall contingent that set up shop next to our tailgate. The year before that we were welcomed with open arms into a frat house on Marshall's campus. I love the Marshall match-up more than any other opponent OHIO schedules on a regular basis. Their fans are a huge part of what makes the OHIO-Marshall rivalry great. I would go as far to say that Marshall fans have been pulling more than their own weight in this rivalry with respect to fans that travel and fans that tailgate. To establish my credibility on this topic I've tailgated at over a dozen universities across the country for football games. I've seen some great rivalries recently such as Oregon/Oregon State in Eugene last year and Clemson/South Carolina in Clemson the preceding year. I went to Tennessee at Georgia in 2012, and I've been to the Power Conference road games OU's had since 2009 (even that Temple game in Philly on a school night if we count their short lived run in the Big East). I've been to these tailgates and interacted with these fan bases as a college aged man. It's best age for really being submersed in the school's culture as an outsider. I say this so I can tell you Marshall is entirely underrated as a fan base. And we are fortunate to have them as a rival.

Alleging that anyone has an "inferiority complex" is weak logic. You're presupposing a condition without any supporting objective evidence. And to top it off, the person who has to shoulder the claim is trapped because of the very nature of the allegation.
It'd be like if I said, "colobobcat you're in denial."
What are you going to say? No I'm not in denial. You may be a realist, but your logic is suspect.
