We know that Kent State has absolutely ruined seasons for Ohio recently, but Frank is 1-5 lifetime against CMU. Getting off to a good start against the Flashes is probably better for the season, especially considering the three straight road games to start. The CMU game is where Ohio gets into the bulk of MAC play to build momentum for the rest of the year.

Feel free to spin this however you want. More important for Frank, the team, the program or whatever. And don't give me the "every win is important" speech. We all know that.

All MAC games are equal in terms of how they count in the standings, but the Kent game means more to me on a personal level than the game against CMU. That's why I picked the Flashes.

Kent State. It's tough to start the season with three road games, so it'd be great to pick up a win in week one. Plus, this could be a tiebreaker for the MAC East crown. You never know.

Kent State because it's an East contest. All MAC games count but when you're going head to head against a division foe like KSU a loss to KSU could hurt us more than a non-division game against CMU does. We can only win the MAC East and the MAC Championship, it's impossible for us to win the MAC West.

Can't - simply because it's before the CMU game - therefore the only one of two choices that matters - right now
