Teagues verbal has been previously mentio.ned on this board, but I just saw that Clark Francis of Hoop Scoop has him rated #80 in the nation. Rare these days for a midmajor to get someone rated that high. Last year, Tariq Owens and one other Guy were the only two top 150 players to sign w a midmajor

Did he have any offers besides Ball State and Western Illinois?

You would expect a Top 150 guy to have more than that.

I'm encouraged by the current state of MAC recruiting. I think the incoming freshman class for the MAC is the best in awhile.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Maybe we should check other rating services...Hoop Scoop may be the only one rating him that high.

Surprised he passed on the opportunity to play at the Waste Management Arena at WIU.

ESPN 3 star and 34th best small forward in the country. They think highly of him but not highly enough to place him in the top 100.

Sent a message to Whit to congratulate him on the commit several weeks back. Kid is at Pike and runs open gyms with other Pike Alum like jeff and Marq Teague, Courtney Lee, Robt Vaden and a number of other alums that still meet at the gym on Sundays.

he is going to be very good when all is said and done. Told Whit it was a big first step in restoring BSU to a place of pprominence in the west. Saul got company. Big time get for Balls
