Sat through the freezing temps and wind for all 10 innings of a pretty good game, but walks and errors eventually cost the Bobcats.

I wanted to go but couldn't. I was very excited when they took the lead in the 8th but had a feeling once we gave it up in the bottom half that sealed our fate. Our only pitcher to go more than an inning was our closer.

Btw, it was really odd and a little disturbing that bill davis stadium was almost entirely field turf. Including the "dirt" infield. The only natural surface was the pitchers mound. Blech.

After clawing back to grab the lead in the 8th, we were dead the moment we walked the leadoff guy in the bottom. That guy was a problem on the bases all night. His speed turned a second inning bunt into a three base error, and he scored the tying run moments later. His 8th inning walk (although he should have been out on a check swing) & steal preceded a single that tied the game again.

His leadoff hit in the 10th had cozart distracted and off his game and eventually led to him giving up a 3-run dinger to a 98-lb weakling who had never homered in his freaking life.
