She was honored on senior nite, same as Liis Kullerkan was a year ago with a year of eligibility left. She'll be missed, not only for her talent but for her experience and toughness. No matter the coach, we generally are able to recruit a Top 100 player, and this year it is Carley (the release failed to point out that she was a PrepVolleyball Top 100 honoree, as was Jaime a year ago). The class is an interesting mix of established talent and potential. Chelsea was one of the hardest hitters we've had, but she never fully recovered from the knee injury/surgery and made the wise decision not to take the redshirt year. Liis, on the other hand, took her redshirt year in grad school at Duquesne and had a nice season. Hope to see her again with the Estonian olympic team.
