OHIO vs State heads the Millennium Invite

7:00 Friday Xavier 5-1

10:00 Sat. "We're OHIO and You're" State 4-2

Someone had that sign at St John's Arena, the last time we played them, when Carlston's Bobcats swept them to go to the Sweet 16.

4:30 Sat. Syracuse 5-1

These teams are good, with strong records against mainly mediocre opponents. Winnable weekend.

Solid sweep over Xavier. Xavier's frontline players have some power and early on, we were not all that great setting up our block attempts. Some timely adjustments made.

Interesting that Lamberti played mostly from the back row. She was often on the floor with Jaimie K, Burkle, Bull, and Walker up front.

Hannah was awesome in the third set. I counted at least four extremely powerful and well-placed kills. Jaimie K is going to be a star.

There were probably 30-40 Bobcat fans in attendance. Maybe 1,000 total in the building.

took the bike up but got caught up in game day traffic. Parking was only for disabled people near the volley venue. Sat 50 minutes in traffic and ended up finding breakfast by iron pony and watching on the game tracker. Good win. Sad i did not very to watch

Really, really good interview with Coach: we won the key points, won a very high % of the long rallies (hard work paying off)...and Coach talks strategy vs. columbus at middle net.

Apparently, this is the first win for the seniors over a Big10/13--difficult to believe that given our fine success over the years.
