But I'm looking forward to him becoming more comfortable in post-game interviews and giving us more than the usual sports cliches. It has been good for Athens to get some well-deserved attention. As an Athens High Graduate, it is nice to see the Bulldogs finally getting some National Attention too. It seems that being an Athens Native has always meant being in the shadow of Ohio University, but that is only part of what it was like to grow up in Athens. The Athens Historical Society recently put out a nice book by the name of "Growing Up in Athens." Usually, the only props that Athens gets is due to its rumored paranormal occurrences and Ohio's consistent ranking as a party school.
