I'm pretty sure they're 12-1.  Or maybe Ted is making a prediction of Sunday's outcome.

Did Akron already win? Man, they're good.

13-1 or 12-1 no matter.  Dambrot has that program humming.

I heard Dambrot say on his TV program a few weeks ago that Ohio has come very close to replacing Kent as their most bitter rival.  Says that there is real animosity among the fans and players.  Said that they have been pointing toward the game Sunday as a game they will do anything they can to win.

Wow. Dambrot is pulling the old Michigan staple of claiming Michigan State is its biggest rival to indirectly get a dig in at Ohio State.

I agree with Dambrot.  I get more fired up for Akron than Miami these days.  I just don't like them at all.  I'll root for Miami when they are in the NCAAs or something like that.  But, I just can't do that for Akron for some reason.

(I blame the Hipsher family.)

I don't like our odds at winning this game purely because I think we're going to win ny 5-7 points.

Likewise, I thought we'd lose @Buffalo and we beat them handily.

After watching Zeke lose his cool last month, I hope the Ozone rides his arse the entire game.  He's really volatile and can do a lot of damage to his team.

Wow.  I really can't remember a coach saying his program doesn't like a particular player like that.

And his little correction there, trying to say the players and not him personally, seemed like BS to me.

Those quotes about DJ were made before our first meeting with Akron earlier this year.

I don't doubt Dambrot might think Ohio is nearing Kent as a rival. But rivalries are based on more than five-year periods of time and they're going to be around long after Keith Dambrot leaves Akron and follows his real life's calling of owning a Hyundai dealership on South Arlington Road or something.

First of all, that's a great reference/slam.

Second, this rivalry has been brewing for a decade-plus now, right? Since Andy Hipsher?
