NBA scouts look at thousands of players every year, long before commentators and mock drafters start sniffing around. Even guys who wouldn't have been drafted in an eight-rounder have pages of reports. Don't listen to anyone who says something like, "Their performance in X game is going to really hurt/help." Almost never true that a single data point moves the needle significantly. That tells me one of two things might happen for Jason's outlook: 1) He's put on a two-way contract with the G-League or 2) The Clippers plan to offload some contracts via trades. 2 seems more likely. I expect Jason will turn some heads for the better in Summer League (starting tonight at 9:00 on ESPNU) and I don't believe they have bigger plans for Boston than they have for Jay.
