Semifinals are set. #4 Ohio vs. #9 Toledo. #7 Eastern Michigan vs. #3 Kent State.

What a draw.

Hey, at least the women won their last game of the season rather emphatically!

To me this is especially crushing for the women. They had reached the semis and had to feel exceptionally good about their chances to get a conference championship and berth to the NCAA.

Agreed, good win, but if the NCAA tournament is played it's a bummer that probably the highest remaining seed will represent the MAC? I have to believe the 'Cats are the best team remaining but the slide down the stretch to the 4 seed may cost them the Big Dance.

Although the likelihood of anyone dancing is remote.

It would be Central, as I saw someone tweet after the press conference. Bummer. I too believe it should be the highest remaining seed.

ESPN's Charlie Creme's projection today has 2 MAC teams making it in. CMU with a 9 seed, and the MAC tournament champ, currently Kent State as the highest remaining seed. But it's just an academic exercise at this point.

“Unfinished business...” what an appropriate slogan for the women all year, culminating in tournament cancellation.

The team got a 2021 verbal this week. Kate Dennis out of Illinois. Decent height with range.

Exactly how tall is she? I couldn't find it anywhere in that link or related links. Perhaps, I didn't look close enough, but if you know, please tell. Thanks.

6'1" would make her among Ohio's tallest players. What surprised me is that she's listed at 168 lbs. Looks like a prototypical Bob Boldon player -- can play all five positions, and can hit threes as well as drive for layups.

Good looking all-around player. She has range and strong drives using either hand. From what I can gather, she had offers from Butler, Illinois State, Valpo, Niagara, North Dakota St, Cleveland St, Akron, Penn, and Lehigh.

Butler, Niagara and Ohio were the only schools I applied to. No one I talked to at OU about "what other schools did you apply to" and no recruits I can recall had that same overlap.

I've seen crazier things happen.
