With former 3-point record holder and grad assistant Kianna Black (KB for 3!) looking on, Amani Burke goes 11 for 15 from downtown as OHIO crushes Ball State 94-62. One record nobody can take from KB is her recent nation leading 3 pointers per game average. And it was a wild weekend for the Burke family as brother Trey gets traded from the Knicks to Dallas.

Easily overlooked with all this excitement was an incredible performance by Cece Hooks who went 12 for 17 from the field: 26 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 7 steals. Her steals move her near the top in the nation in that category. If anyone can ever get a quadruple double, it's Cece.

Ohio (18-2) now sits on top in the MAC East at 7-2 but only one game ahead of Miami and Buffalo. With powerful Central Michigan at 6-2 in the West, the MAC has 4! teams having a legitimate chance for NCAA bids to the big dance.

Go OHIO

What Bob has done with that program in 6 years has been nothing but incredible! IF there's one thing we should be doing is ponying up the dough when it comes time for him to field offers. His assistants are 2nd to none, and do a great, great job (I know, but had to emphasize it) of recruiting Ohio.

Talk about a team that represents the state in general pretty good, it's no mystery why they are where they are. Also would say the women's basketball across the state in terms of talent coming up has also been impressive as well.

As to NCAA's, no reason why we shouldn't get 2+ teams in. The ingredient is simple, win non-league games as a conference, don't lose horse crap games as a conference, and you're guaranteed to get 2+ bids.
