"Retiring" with a career record of 96-215 at Bryant. The team is 3-24 this season.

From his bio on Bryant's athletics site: "Through his first nine seasons in Smithfield, O'Shea has turned the Bulldogs into a premier program in the Northeast"

He’s retiring from being a basketball coach, but if he’s running a B&B, he’s not retiring from work. I ran a B&B after I left my paid job, and never worked harder in my life. Retirement it’s not, although if he has enough money to hire a bunch of staff maybe it will be.

If you started teaching in the period of about 1965 to 1980 in Ohio, 57 was the retirement age on 88% of your salary. My wife retired on the last day that system was in place, June 30, 2015, with 35.03 years of credit. Talk about cutting it close.

As for Tim, he and Beth bought an historic house in Newport when he took the Bryant job. Not sure if that will be the B&B but it's a great house.

Well, Bryant has certainly became relevant in their conference like the release says. They’ve set new levels of expectations.

So now that TOS no longer will be going for coaching jobs, are we going to have to switch it to JC or does TOS live on in infamy.....

I decree that the meme will never die...it will live on in infamy...anyway, who's to say TOS wouldn't come out of "retirement" for the right job??

I think Ted will have to have a BA Wiki that includes an explanation for newbs that outlines local lore. TOS to..... shorthand for "job opening at"

Many waited for the TOS to .....Bryant since Shauz came to town and the jet, train, bus, car, motorcycle and everything left Athens and TOS was able to grab the last lifeboat floating down the Hocking. Now the only one that is left to anticipate is the completion of the circle....TOS to ....OHIO.

Amazing how fast those 2 Bryant threads came up

I just want to underline and underscore that it's been 10 years since Tim O'Shea was coach here. Holy crap.

Just FYI but I did start the TOS to _____ posts back when Quinnipiac was going on. Not in an Al Gore sort of way, but merits mentioning. Your welcome.
