For those who made it or watched the game at the Convo they got monies worth seeing Ohio have play a good game against quality competition. Ohio controlled the game and shot well at the line, things necessary for winning this game. WKU is a good series for Ohio and wouldn't mind seeing it as an every year thing like Marshall has become.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

If WKU is going to become a semi-permanent fixture on the schedule, might as well add either Belmont and/or MTSU. Travel-wise it would make sense. WKU to Belmont is about another hour drive and from Belmont to MTSU is about 35 minutes. People who have a Nashville trip on their wish list could include basketball with their tourism. (Beware outrageous hotel prices in downtown Nashville, comparable to NYC)

Agreed on everything but the hotel prices. I picked the Wednesday after Christmas and NYC prices are twice as high as Nashville. That said, I would love to see us play Belmont and App State or UNC Asheville on a weekend home and home basis. It would be a great bone to throw fans in exchange for the horrible week night football games.

And Wes, it's money's worth. Figure I'd throw that in before OCF's wife and Steveland.

I agree.

All three are the exact types of teams we should be targeting for our schedule.

Agree. Much prefer these games to the Alabama A&M, Coppin State, Prairie View and NW Ohio circuit.

I'd be all for this too. Weekends in Asheville & Nashville are always enjoyable. Hoops competition would be stronger than most non-conf too I think.

I heard that several years ago, when WKU was upgrading its football program, there was some discussion of this. Like you, I would have loved to have seen it come to fruition.

Fball & Bball schools only. Screw the Bball only relevant schools - Unless that is the route we decide to go (which I am not 100% opposed to - but maybe 90% opposed to at this point)

That was awesome. Looks like he hasn't grown up much in his five college seasons.

Bearden was head case at Buffalo and he's still a head case at WKU.
