I share this merely to point out where all the TV wildcard slots are.

Well big kudos for the MAC for keeping that 7PM Saturday time slot for the championship game.

(But Friday night games.... not worth it....)

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Taking a look at what our peer conferences are getting ESPN has pared down the MVC package to ESPN3 only. MVC now has a limited regional package of 22 games with the semifinals like the MAC on CBS Sports with the championship game on CBS.

The A10 which we tend to agree is a step up from has 7 league games on ESPN/ESPNU the same amount as the MAC. The big difference is they also have a secondary contract with NBCSN adding 21 additional contests bringing their total to 50 across ABC/NBC/CBS platforms.

AAC has 40 conference games on ESPN/2/U, 24 more on ESPN News and then another 28 in CBSSN. 90 conference games, easily the best package among the G5.

And Wes the 322 million other Americans couldn't care less. Dialing up a game on TV is becoming a thing of the past. If Houston and LA play for the World Series, most of America won't be there.

Already a thing of the past IMO. I haven't used a TV dial to get a game in probably 32 years. 1985 Super Bowl - Bears thumping Patriots is the last I game remember using a dial.

I kid.

My point on this is the MAC's TV package when you include the ESPN3 component to it is not half bad. Fairly equivalent to what the A10 has for this season and better in someways with the wildcard play your way into more games setup. They have more games on Stadium but I'd take ESPN3 over an unknown network.
