Yeah, young AD choked big time. If Grant's your guy, how does it take 5 days?
Also, I'm open to knowing if there's been any time in basketball history that a retread has achieved at a high level.
To me, Anthony Grant is about the worst thing you can do to a program. He'll be just good enough to not get fired.
First of all, everyone wins at VCU. Jeff Capel, Anthony Grant, Shaka Smart, Will Wade.
If he was such a desireable commodity, why was there no interest in him from anywhere else? The market is telling you something.
I'm also open to anyone telling me when a retread has succeeded at a high level.
As for young coaches, these names were all metioned as being involved in the process: Brannen from NKU, Davis from Bucknell, Whitford from Ball St St. and Muller from Illinois St.
I love Anthony Grant the person. I hope I'm wrong about his ability to succeed at Dayton.
