It was a very smart move on his part. Allowed him to speak to NBA executives and scouts to learn what he needs to improve upon to play professionally - be it here or overseas. Yes - that is a smart move, why not do it? He was all in favor of kids going and participating as it would be educational, get them on a path to improvement. Not all those are going to be as self driven as Buddy Heild and going to the combine defines and illustrates their deficiencies and their strengths. Low cost and certainly a lot of upside without much downside. A free look and interview. Why not? never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. Hopefully he drops a few more LB's and picks up more defense. With Culver on the perimeter he will not have as much driving at him. And another year with Jaaron is also going to help.
