I'd think they need to go to the tournament to keep him safe. The thing is, their program is already better because he's there. It would be a shame to see him not be able to see the results of all the efforts they've put in. Groce will land on his feet somewhere in a couple years if he gets canned at Illinois. As long as the top tier programs fans pay the big bucks, as long as the top tier programs get the advertising/media $ support it will not end. Those that went for the "greener grass" did get a LOT of GREEN. I'm not sobbing for them - that's why they moved - and they got PAID - A LOT. If the he did what the report says he did, he shouldn't get anymore chances given when it happened on a team trip. Heck, if I were JG, I wouldn't spend my own money to send him back on a plane to the US immediately.
