SuperMO

Energy, hitting the mid-ranger (he's got a decent 3-shot, right?!), and he's a long strider--covers territory with his steps. Can't really teach the latter.

Those skills play in the NBA.

He's doing great--substantial minutes in a substantial role. Great to see. He's doing much better, honestly, than I'd thought he do.

Go SuperMO.

His game skills are built for the NBA game - no surprises here. Space, breaks, dishers (whether 7 footer disher or what-ever) - and "motion" movers/readers ....... LY....... frustrating thinking about it) 2nd team all MAC - 2 from OHIO.... One will have an NBA career....... one we will never see another (positive) post about on BA......

Makes you wonder- what if Mo had found his way to Athens as a freshman, taking Gourd's spot, let's say. No doubt he would have had made an impact backing up Ivo at the stretch 4, would have played in the Sweet 16, had two years with DJ at the point, could have been the difference in the 2013 MAC Championship game... lots of what ifs.

Either way, glad we had him for as long as he did, hope he left with fond memories.

Just shows the difference in approach in College versus the NBA. I have a feeling neither coach at OHIO really figured out a way to use all the talents Mo has. I think everyone knew he had some raw talent but obviously, whatever the pros do (the triangle) he is really liking it and shining! Still, a difficult thing for an undrafted free agent to make it but he has some big paydays coming from somewhere (EUROPE).

In my opinion, he would have eventually taken Ivo's spot strictly based on his defensive presence.

I think some of it probably has to do with having more talent around him so that teams can't just focus on shutting him down like they did with Ohio.

+1 I think that's probably most of the answer as to why he'd doing so well.

I've very happy to see our own Nature Boy doing so well in the summer NBA games. That quote from Fisher seems to indicate he's going to make a roster somewhere. I'd love to see him in Cleveland.

Very true. Isn't there a saying that the only person who could hold Michael Jordan under 20 points a game was Dean Smith?

Was it Dean Smith? Or was it Dan Dakich? Perhaps Bobby Knight?

Not as good of a game today in a really bad game (76-54 loss) for the Knicks. Ndour went 2-8 for 4 points with 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, 1 foul in 25+ minutes. The Knicks will play the Bucks on Friday. Not sure of the time.

4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist, 1 turnover. 2-3 FG in only 15 minutes. Neither of the Knicks' top players played at all, and Ndour and Cleanthony Early both had fairly limited minutes.

Overall, Ndour averaged 9.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.0 bpg, 1.0 spg, 0.6 apg, 1.0 tpg. he was 22-43 FG, missing his only 3 attempt. 4-5 FT.

A post from the Knicks' fan page suggests he could go elsewhere: http://talkingknicks.com/whats-new-jul-19-2015/.

Looking @ that Knicks roster, Derrick Williams has been a huge bust. #2 pick in the 2011 Draft has done nothing. Thank God the CAVS drafted Kyrie instead that year!

What jumps out at me is how much the fan base wants him! Mo has set himself up well!

2nd team All MAC. Only 9 W's LY. Man - what Mo could have done with some runners, screeners, and dishers........

About 4 or so years ago, OHIO played in a pre-season tournament in Las Vegas at the fine arena adjacent to the Orleans hotel. I think that we played Kansas in the first game (big loss and Tommy Free took a concussion) and beat Santa Clara in our 2nd game (Tommy couldn't play).

We had first row seats on the sideline right near the baseline so stayed for the Kansas vs. Arizona game. Derrick Williams for AZ was A MAN in that game. I'd have bet my life that he'd be a big success in the NBA, at least as a scorer.

Believe me, OHIO hasn't fielded anyone since Trent who was the force that Williams was in that game vs. Kansas. I'm so surprised that Wms is not an NBA success. Goes to show how good you have to be to be a bigtime player in the NBA.

The NYTimes recently had an interview with Phil Jackson asking him how he plans to turn things around. He didn't mention Mo but he said he wants good, smart guys on the team. Guys that get it, want to get better and can be coached. Mo certainly fits that profile and I wouldn't count him out in NY.

With all the good press, I'm actually starting to think that Mo will make a NBA roster. Great news if that happens.

Great press for the Ohio Basketball Program, and a great recruiting tool too.

Sounds to me like it's 50/50 if he gets a Knick roster spot or if goes to Europe. That foreign money could be pretty enticing instead of possibly ending up in the NBDL.

Especially if the Euro league offer is good $ for multiple years contract

He's supposedly getting offers from other NBA teams. I think at this rate he'll end up staying in the States.
