How about Patrick Flomo?

Definitely Flomo!

One of my favorite regular season moments was the UNC game in... 01-02?... when Flomo was blocking a bunch of shots and completing a bunch of putback dunks and Brad Daugherty and whoever was doing the PBP were basically shouting FLOMOOOOO! anytime he did anything above the rim. It was amazing.

Mike Patrick! Nice!

If only this had the mic'd up segment from halftime where TOS was shouting "ARE YOU A F'ING POINT GUARD, JAIVON!?!" sometimes my old roommate and I still yell that at each other.

Btw, 5:40 in the clip is where Flomo-mania really kicks in.

This was true. Know why? There's a very sociological explanation.

I also give my now unnecessary second to Paul Storey. I was actually getting ready to nominate him myself when I saw Mike's post.

Thanks,Carl. It was nice to read that reunion article and be reminded that Storey put in 13 against Louisville and 19 against Kentucky.

Greg Mcdivitt should be in this discussion.

I was thinking the same thing, but then I looked him up and he was listed as a forward. I remember him playing more like a center, though. Glad someone else remembers it this way, so I guess I´m not completely crazy.

What I miss most about Flomo was his special cheering section of what appeared to be highly casual women. Usually scantily clad casual women.

That happens a lot. I'll include him.

[QUOTE=OUVan]Would John Devereaux be considered a center or a power forward?[/QUOTE

If you consider him a center, he'd be my pick, but he was probably more of a power forward. Never seen a kid progress to the extent he did over 4 years. Danny Nee once said the biggest mistake he ever made was not redshirting Jon. I think he only played 2 years of competitive ball before coming here.

I always considered JD a center but he could post up just beyond the free throw line not quite at the top of the key and had a deadly shot he hit for a high percentage.

Bobcat Grad 86 in the crowd just to the right of JD's waist in the dark shirt beginning the double fist pump!

Craig Love played center more than McDivitt. Gary Wolf would get a few minutes.
Surprised one of you old guys didn't nominate Big Jon Schroeder.

I'll second John Schroeder. In high school, I played football against John. Yep, he was a 6'9" wide receiver.

At Ohio when the '64 flood forced evacuation of West Green where John lived, he became my temporary roommate in Gam Hall.
