Such luck for me, I'll be arriving in Phoenix the day before to visit family, might have to take the family to the game.

Game is in the bag everyone. Got tickets for my son and I, the only game we went to this year was our 30pt win over Miami. I can't even imagine the luck we can bring to the Lady Bobcats :)

Been nice to get a seeding that allowed the game to be in Chapel Hill or Lexington or a couple other options in driving distance of Athens.

Looks like a tough draw. ASU won 14 in a row this year.

Go get 'em Bobcats!

There are 52-55 teams better than our #14 seed, 27-4 Bobcats? I don't think so.

Whole lotta excitement on this site for this game.

If, one year after 9-21 and in only Boldon Ball's second year, 27-4 and the MAC Championship and NCAA appearance isn't enough to fire up more than five of us (espec compared to a bunch of topics about other schools and TOS to wherever) then we don't deserve it.

Don't blame me when Coach bolts after another year or two of splendid ball but about nobody here gives a flip.

Here's a team and coaches who marvelously give us what we yearn for and we give back pretty much dead silence.

What will it take to get the attention of Ohio Fan? If this team isn't it, you sure have me wondering.

Wake up!

By the way, I get the impression that this year's recruits (and didn't our freshmen recruit injury redshirt?) will push bigtime for playing time next year. It is on.

And on big time.

It will be tough for any incoming freshmen to break into the rotation. We lose Byard but return Karlis and presumably Cooper. Karlis was balling before her injury and Cooper had a nice freshman year. Boldon has hinted that Cooper's return is up in the air. If Cooper can go, we go 10-deep without the freshmen and Tmisht Stinson.

Regarding the recruits, there are two Ohio first teamers: Olivia Bower from Connotton Valley (D4 and coached by former Bobcat Chandra Meyer) and Dominique Doseck from Athens in D2. Hanna Thome from Chagrin Falls was all-state but not first team. (Her 6'4'' twin sister was named Ohio Ms. Basketball, though and is headed to Michigan.) Those are three of the five and then add in Kelly Karlis who showed great skill until an injury ended her freshman season.
Talent is continuing to fill the roles needed to maintain the success.

Well Monroe, an internet fan site message board isn't the main barometer of fan interest in a program. Attendance at games was decent although not great this year. I got to three games at home and one away game during the season.

Also you have to look at attendance for the two games in Cleveland. There was a good contingent of Ohio fans at both games. Saturday there was a pregame Bash at Zocalas and it was packed. I was able to attend all these.

The NCAA selection party at BDubs in Athens was packed. A lot of enthusiasm.

We should definitely strive for improvement in supporting Coach Boldens program, but things aren't as dire as you paint them.

Quite correct. Community support/attendance has been very good. Student attendance not so much but there have been a few who were consistent. Unfortunately, far too few.

Pending verification regarding whether that post was by The Real Jeff McK or Fake Jeff McK, I acknowledge the point--attendance has been decent....though a a crowd of 10k or sellout at The Convo would not be unwarranted for the ladies.

That said, the menz are are...and were...out of contention for a long time this season yet the volume of non-women's team posts here is pretty steady while the volume of women's team posts is pretty paltry. Given that this is the main place for expressing interest (apart from attending games), the expression of support ain't what it should be for the MAC Champions and NCAA participants.

We went from 9-21 to 27-4. That is remarkable.

Get on the bandwagon.

For another good reason to be awfully proud and fond of this ladies team and the coaching staff, do you all know who Adyn Bucher is?

Looking at some of the women's scores from today, and both 3-14 games were reasonably close. The 2-15 and 1-16 games not so much. Only one mid-major upset it seems is possible with #11 Gonzaga up 15 at halftime on #6 George Washington. One other thing that stands out is if some on this board paid more attention to the women's bracket, they would have hated seeing Arkansas in the field with a 17-13 record that included a 6-10 SEC mark. But the Razorbacks won their first game.

Monroe, I invite the BA administrators to check the # of PM sent from me to you. Will you do the same? I know I've sent you exactly zero PM with "creepy suggestions" to you. Can you claim the same?

Facts are, I've sent you exactly 1 PM in almost five years of sending PM on BA. And that was a reply to one of your several PM to me.

You can look it up.

Approaching 6,000 posts and still not one of any substance.
