bad situation with the standards collapsing and the opposing player almost getting whacked.

It was kind of funny to see a State Farm ad on the arm of the hoop. I wonder if NIU's agent showed up on cue right afterwards?

There's one reason hanging on the rim is a "T".

Not as dramatic as a Chocolate Thunder job but still scary for the guys on the floor.

THey call that a lot less than they should. Fans get pissy when it is called but I have long been a proponent of the whistle. If they are going to dunk ...FINE....if there is someone in the area ....fine.....there is no reason to grab the rim on a dunk. Slam it and move on....

Just like the ugliness of the Smurf Turf, the dark floor makes it hard to see any team that's wearing dark uniforms. Because of TV, it's not something the NCAA should allow.

I actually like their floor. As for the product on the floor, that could use some work.

I agree with the "T" for hanging on a rim to show boat but he didn't hang at all. Just a nice power dunk. And that actually didn't look anymore powerful than some of Mo's.

NIU's floor is an example of a design that looked great on a power point slide projected on a wall in a meeting room but didn't translate to real life. As others have said, way too dark. Kind of like the grey EMU field, clever idea but looks absolutely wretched on TV.
