Hey George, I've never been to a Chick-fila-a and I had to work and couldn't go to to night's game. If I go try a sandwich (is that the recommended order?), will I feel better about this men's season?

The fact that this thread is 90% Chick-fil-A talk should tell us something about the season. This year is almost comically bad. I found myself and a few around me tonight laughing at some of the things going on. Only way to get through it.

Maid Rites - have not had that since I was a kid. Trips to the Darke County fair required a stop at Maid Rites!

Thank God the baseball team is doing well, no matter who the competition is.

I sat down in my seat last night expecting a loss...and it didn't make watching it any easier. At least I will say this, there was some fight in this team in the second half. There wasn't much of that in the first half, but in half 2 they played with effort and didn't mail it in. That would have been easy to do with an 18 point deficit at the half. It's not much of a positive to hang a hat on, but it's something.

Well, the team in home whites in the Convo the last two games has looked fantastic. Too bad Ohio was wearing road uniforms in both of those games though.

Saul addressed that in the post game. He said beaner went back in the locker room and got cryotherapy but came out wearing a boot and said "i don't have it tonite coach" and that was that. Hope it comes around and he has no residual problems.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If this team can get to Cleveland, no one is going to want to play them. This might be the most talented "bad" Ohio team I have seen in the last 20 years. But this team still had plenty of individual talent to match up with anyone in the MAC and if they can somehow put it all together, they could make a serious run.

I said this the last time someone posted this but I would want to play us. I hate to be so negative but we aren't putting anything together. It's not like we are just a bit off on our timing running the offense. We don't really run one. As Dragon said when we were 0-4 in conference, we will have nights where we will shoot well and can beat some teams but IMO not if they are focused on the task at hand. Pressure Bean and trap him high and he has no solution. When teams get lazy and give him space he can have nights where he burns teams. But I just don't see this team all of a sudden turning into a team that can string together some big wins when the other team is focused. We've got talent but all of it is standing their with their arms stretched out waiting for that pass that will never come.

I agree. It's called being the realist. The only way this team makes a run is if they make 10-12 3's per game. It's the great equalizer, and the only real chance this group probably has because they aren't great on D, and they aren't terribly efficient on offense.
