Card made it to the hospital. Lots of support surrounding him. twitter and facebook getting looked at. The war goes on....

The Duquesne University Basketball people are planning on a fund raiser to help John & family thru some rough times.
I have told them that I/we would handle the Bobcat side of things.
I now need your help with suggestions and thoughts.

Please send me a PM with any and all suggestions.

A Gofundme fundraiser might be one way to get things started...

Visited JR in Pittsburgh. Cancer treatments done, hopefully for good. Leg/ankle healing; hasn't been able to do PT, due to cancer tx. John is in good spirits (as usual). He knows it's a long process; but, he's ready for the challenge. The family appreciates all the support they've received.
Please keep the prayers coming--they are working! I'm not currently aware of any fundraising situations going on. Duquesne coaches might do something with the "Rhodes sayings" t-shirts seen on Twitter, but that is speculation on my part--not knowledge. Again, please keep praying for John and his family.

Thanks for the updates. If the treatments are done, I'm hopeful that means cancer is in remission. Keeping finger crossed and prayers going for John.
