Guys, these are what I call "style points".  Obviously Saul and JC are light years different in their approach.  But, coaches can be and are successful using a variety of approaches to players and/ or teams.  The real story is in the results.  So, like everyone I am just hoping the results are as good as the last few coaches we've had, keep us in the top 2-4 programs in the MAC, get us to Cleveland, maybe a Championships here and there and into post season play often!

71, you troublemaker, what makes you think reality has anything to do with this.

Remember....Saul doesn't have a Sweet 16 team falling into his lap.

Good thing. Otherwise, he'd be subjected to unrealistic, unfair expectations in his first year.

We should never be anything less than Top 2-4 playing in the Mid American Conference. I wanted a coach in here that could teach defense and gut out those conference games when the shots are not falling. I think we have that with Saul out of the Wisconsin coaching tree. Its nice to see us move in a fresh direction and not try to repeat JG with another disciple from the Thad Matta line of coaches, a hidden talent gem uncovered by everybody.
