He just took out a $10 million insurance policy on himself.  Expecting Ohio to get rough?

I hope not. I would like for him and the UL: staff to be looking way past Ohio.

The offense is filled with returning starters, but on defense, it's anyone's guess who ends up being the starter. Unless he fears the unknown, why would he be concerned?

DT - Will be Crutcher and Purdum...or, maybe Tautuaki and McLeod.
DE - Will be Smith and Branz...or, maybe Barber, or Laseak or Basham
OLB - WIll be Grady or Atwell or Jovan Johanson unless Moore moves to OLB, which he probably will
MLB - Will be Russell or Blair Brown, unless Moore stays at MLB
CB - Will it be Carrie and Shaw, from 2011? Or Fisher and Wells from 2012? Or some combination?
S - Probably some combination of Hughes, Kristoff, Ingol, and Carpenter

See? Defense is definitely set is stone....

"These guys don't want nothing to do with tackling.." - Bill O'brien, regarding Ohio's defense BEFORE the game.

hopefully the Cards will make the same assumptions.

The element of surprise might be our best friend next month in Louisville.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

what I'd like to see is our offense not wait until the 3rd quarter to get going.  What we did against Penn State won't cut it at the 'Ville. We need to be in the endzone in the first half. We need to make field goals and no special teams catastrophes (see: blocked punt, easy 7 for PSU).

I think Tony Davis plays a ton in the DT rotation with Crutcher and Purdum and if the Media Guide holds any weight Moore moves outside and Russell moves to the Mike. I just wonder who comes off the field in Nickel Situations?
