Well, at least it wasn't Kirby.

He hired Knorr.  And begged McDavis to agree to extend Knorr for one year.

Thanks for setting the record straight, SBH.  Also, I have the impression (though I don't know this for a fact) that McDavis should get more credit for the Frank hire than Boeh.  I do know that Glidden was really the person who hired Grobe, which was the first hint that Mack was on his way out..
